1903 Flyer Wind Tunnel Tests
1903 Flyer Wind Tunnel Tests

The Discovery of Flight Foundation has sponsored several scientific evaluations of Wright reproductions. These tests are possible only with authentic aircraft. The data they yeild gives us unprecedented insight into the actual performance of these machines, and provide excellent opportunites for graduate studies. Our wind tunnel tests have been conducted and co-sponsored by Old Dominion University and the NASA/LAngley Research Center. in addition to flight data recording by Vigyan, Inc.
